Introducing Zorro 🥰

Zorro is one cool dude. He is a 5-6 month old medium sized mixbreed and is an absolute cuddle machine.
This guy is a bit shy to start with as he is still learning about the world after not having the best start in life.
But he doesn't take long to warm up, and then the cuddles begin! He spends half his time on the ground smooching along to get closer to you. He can't seem to get close enough.
He is great with kids, and other dogs. He would love a home with another dog companion.
He enjoys his puppy play/zoomies in the morning, then is quite happy to laze around and just hang out with his family. He likes to follow everyone around while they do their jobs around the house.
He will need a kind home to give him the time to come out of his shell more, and you will be rewarded with an absolute best friend that will be always by your side.
Would be ok with a very confident cat.
If you think you have the perfect home for Zorro, apply here and we will be in touch if we think you could be a good match: waipadc.govt.nz/dogadoption
If you have any questions, send us a message.
(Zorro is very hard to photograph not laying down, as that is his favourite position)
(I have a few videos of him. If you would like them, please message the page and I can send them through)

Introducing Waffles 💕
Waffles is a 2.5 year old female lab/mastiff x.
Check out her video here: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1DP473t9oD/

(Info from her foster mum)
Waffles is worried....but not as much as before!

Waffles came into foster care quite anxious about life, but she has blossomed into a playful, smoochy character at home. But still struggles with being a little worried when out and about. She thinks parked vans are quite sinister and to be avoided, she doesn't like the hustle and bustle of a busy main street. She loves walking in quieter areas, away from traffic, so the beach, bush, or board walks for Waffles please.

At home she is happy as, and just loves being with her people. She has met a few kids and really seems to gravitate towards them. Waffles does love her daily walks and can go for as long as you would like to walk for, but she is also happy with a nice sniffy 30 min walk with her dog buddies. She is not a high energy dog, she will chase her toy for 3-5 throws and then she is ready for a belly rub.

Waffles is good with dogs and has made a few doggy mates that she will walk calmly beside.
A home without cats is preferred.

Ideal home:
Owner is a homebody and would enjoy a constant companion, if you are folding washing, Waffles is there, if you are in the garden, Waffles will be in the garden.
She would love someone that is home most of the time, working from home or working part time.

Waffles is still a work in progress and needs continued structure, exercise and development of her confidence.

Waffles favourite hobby is sleeping, napping and snoozing on the bed, sofa or armchair. New home must be ok with dogs on furniture as it's Waffles' happy place.

If you think you have the perfect home for Waffles, apply here and we will be in touch if we think you could be a good match: waipadc.govt.nz/dogadoption

Introducing our adorable boy, "Kai"🤎
Kai is approximately 2 years old, Healer cross staffy and medium in size🐾 Kai is a very friendly boy who absolutly loves his toys. He enjoys playing fetch with his rugby ball. Kai is very well manered with his food and sit on command and gives paw. He takes his treats gently from your hand expecting a big cuddle being so cute. Kai will need to have his on special blankie as he loves to nook. He will drag his blankie where ever he thinks and feels he's going to take a nap. Kai is good with his pound mates and loves a good play. He will especially fit in with a female companion to be become his sister. Kai is a clean boy and would love to get a home where he can be a inside dog sleeping warm in his own bed. Kai will need a home with secure fencing to keep him safe. Kai showed some interest in cats so ideal no home with cats.

If you think you can provide everything this gorgeous boy deserve, please apply to adopt, visit waipadc.govt.nz/dogadoption

Introducing Missy and Chaos ❤💙

2 years old, medium in size and Labrador mix breeds.

Missy and Chaos are siblings who have grown up in the same home, we would like to keep them together but we're also open to rehoming them separately.
They play nicely with other dogs, have a good understanding of commands and are very affectionate once they get to know you.
Initially shy with new people, but once that trust is there, they have a lot of love to give.

Their perfect home would be somewhere they get daily exercise, has secure fencing and with a family that will dote on them.

If you think you have the perfect home for Missy and/or Chaos, apply here and we will be in touch if we think you could be a good match: waipadc.govt.nz/dogadoption

Introducing King 👑

King is 8 years old, medium in size and an American Staffordshire Terrier.

This handsome hunk has found himself at the pound and looking for a new family at the age of 8.
As sad as that is, we're hoping we can find King the perfect home to grow old in 🤞
We think the perfect home would be somewhere with secure fencing, where he gets to sleep in a warm bed inside at night, receives daily walks and gets lots of attention as he's an affectionate boy.

King is very social and plays nicely with other dogs, a gentle boy who craves love 💙
We're not sure how he is with cats.

If you think you have the perfect home for King, apply here and we will be in touch if we think you could be a good match: waipadc.govt.nz/dogadoption
If you have any questions, send us a message.

Max 💙

Max is roughly 4 years old, small in size and a Fox Terrier x

Small in stature but big in personality, we are hoping to find a family that can handle this quirky, active but affectionate little dude.
Max is social with other dogs, but just like his terrier best mate Lucy, we wouldn't trust him around small animals.
Once he trusts you, Max loves attention and could be by your side receiving pats and scratches all day.
But he is wary of new people, he's not the type of dog that will allow strangers to come and touch him without some time to build some trust first.
With this, he would suit a home without young kids.

He would need a home with secure fencing, with a family that can give him daily exercise and keep him stimulated.

If you think you have the perfect home for Max, apply here and we will be in touch if we think you could be a good match: waipadc.govt.nz/dogadoption
