It's a fantastic Wednesday!

After trapping mumma cat yesterday, finally have these 2 tiny babies in the trap - definitely the best two for one surprise this morning! 😁🩷🩷
Makes the head torch wielding late night and very early morning missions before and after work in the dark & rain worth it.

So we need your help for names for these two cuties... unsure on genders just yet, will update this morning 😊

Trapping for little kittens in the middle of winter?
Yep, sure are!

Meet Winter and Lucifer. Weighing in at just 1kg these guys are lucky to be in good health for little kittens surviving out in the cold & rain, and even luckier as they will now get to become beloved family members. These two have come off a site where we've trapped, and either TNR'd or placed into foster care 17 cats and kittens to date, with another 4-8 yet to capture including Mum and another 2 siblings.

Please keep your fingers and toes crossed that we can successfully trap the wily mum and remaining 2 kittens over the next few days 🤞🍀
**Update: Mumma cat was in the trap this morning.. and being desexed today 😄

We're thankful for the assistance of the land owner, and desexing is in conjunction with the Comunity Cat Coalition who provides guidance and funding to a large group of members across Auckland to assist in TNR of community cats.

Introducing Cilla 🏵

Cilla was found with her sister Clem at just a couple weeks old. These girls were bottle fed by a wonderful vet, before moving to their current foster where they have thrived and grown in to adorable girls with great personalities.

Cilla is playful, takes things in her stride, an independent girl who is a purr machine. Both girls love their zoomies

Cilla will suit most homes, and should be fine with kids and other cats with the right introductions. She's around 12 weeks old. Fostered in Pukekohe.

Cilla has been desexed, had her first vaccination, microchipped & will be registered on NZCAR, and is up to date on flea & worm treatment. Her adoption fee to help cover these costs is $190.

Introducing Clem 🌼

Clem was found with her sister Cilla at just a couple weeks old. These girls were bottle fed by a wonderful vet, before moving to their current foster where they have thrived and grown in to adorable girls with great personalities.

Clem is bold and confident, and really, really loves her food. She's super sweet and loves kisses. Both girls love their zoomies

Introducing Possum

Gorgeous Possum is looking for her forever home. She came to us after being dropped off at a vet clinic found with a broken tooth and some trauma to her little mouth which is now healed.

She has a stunning, very unique colored coat. A bit of a shy girl at first, she will need someone to allow her time to grow in confidence.

She will suit a quiet to moderate noise level home, has been fostered with cats, dogs and kids, but will appreciate a quieter home where she can rule her castle. Fostered in Karaka/Paerata Rise area.

Possum has been desexed, had her first vaccination, microchipped & will be registered on NZCAR, and is up to date on flea & worm treatment. Her adoption fee to help cover these costs is $190.

A big shout out to say Thank You! to the team at Ellerslie Vet Clinic for hosting their Desexathon day in conjunction with Auckland Community Cat Coalition yesterday 😺❤️

Their desexing day focused on kittens and cats in foster care, and trapped cats from the community.

It's the amazing, ongoing support of the vet clinics who get alongside and support rescues that really make a significant contribution to the work we do, as without their support we'd be restricted in how many lives we can help.

Stunning Stella is looking for her forever home. Stella came to us after having been found as a teeny tiny wee babe... around 5 weeks old, she was the size of a baby kitten.

She's grown in to a sleek, sweet, snuggly girl, and with her laid-back temperament she is going to make someone a fantastic bestie. Stella is playful, loves to climb her towers, and her favorite past time is to lounge in her fluffy donut bed 😻🍩🦥

She will suit a quiet to moderate noise level home, is used to other cats and dogs, and has met a few kids 5yrs +. She's around 16 weeks old. Fostered in Pukekohe.
