A Special Farewell to Weasel aka Keys or Keynote

Our beautiful Weasel, loved by so many near and far, has now returned to his wonderful owner, Kirsty, for a well-deserved retirement. 💙

We have been so lucky to have this amazing pony as part of our team for many years. He’s been a favourite among riders, creating countless special memories and bonds.

Now, he’s back where he belongs, surrounded by love in his forever home. 💕 Here’s a sneak peek of Weasel enjoying his golden years—such a special pony!

Congratulations Tara Gower!

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀-𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 Equestrian Sports New Zealand have named an exciting team to compete against Australia in the Young Rider Trans-Tasman clash being held at the Gisborne Area Jumping and Show Hunter Champs, 24TH – 26TH January 2025.
The 1.20m competition will be on borrowed horses with teams swapping mounts over the three days. Jumping high performance manager, Oliver Edgecombe will be Chef d’Equipe.

We've realised we don't need 10 of everything - here's a little preview of our mahi today!

Come and explore mountains of Horse & Pony gear for all sizes and disciplines - Horse Racing, Show Jumping, and Pony Club. We've got saddles, top stoppers, stirrups, saddle blankets, numnahs, bridles, 100’s of bits, boots, exercise sheets, show jackets, and much more!

Household items - furniture: bunks, single bed, chested draws, tables, couch, desks, lounge entertainment units, kitchen utensils, TV’s, electronics, bedding, cushions, cat cages, heaters, fans, appliances.

Ladies Clothes, ball dresses, bike, camp bunks, tents, sleeping bags, bike, fishing rods, 100s of books, kids swing, board games, table tennis table, stilts, loudspeaker, new luxury dog kennel, ), kiwi fruit picking bags, pokie machine and much more.

Today, we’re saying goodbye to two special horses as they head into retirement, returning to the awesome family who kindly loaned them to us. With our amazing clients, friends, and whānau, these horses have filled our place with friendships, purpose, and heaps of joy.

Heartfelt thanks to Ali Cullum and Sarah Browne, and their whānau for their generosity and everything they’ve done. We are truly grateful. Enjoy your retirement, beautiful horses

New Zealand Pony Clubs proudly endorse and support the national road safety campaign Pass Wide and Slow New Zealand and the Vulnerable Road User Petition in New Zealand Parliament created by New Zealand Equestrian Advocacy Network.

Road Safety is a very important part of rider education and we all need to do our part to educate drivers in Aotearoa to Pass Wide and Slow.

Signing Saves Lives so please sign the Vulnerable Road User Petition today, share the news with everyone you know as we need to make a positive change for every rider, every NZPCA member on our roads.
