Place them in the lower to middle areas of your tank to avoid intense light. Water Flow: 🔹️Low to Moderate Flow: These corals thrive in areas with gentle water movement. Avoid placing them in direct, strong currents, which can cause tissue damage. A calmer environment allows them to expand fully. Placement: 🔹️ Bottom of the Tank: Trachyphyllia corals are best placed on the substrate or a flat rock at the bottom of the tank. This allows them to spread out and grow without competition from other corals.
