No More Cone of Shame ...

Cool Collars was started in 2012 when I (Victoria) asked my Dad (Victor) if he could create a soft option of the plastic ‘head cone’ for my feline patients.

Victor came up with the first version of a soft recovery collar, and we tried it out on some cats at the clinic. We found that the cats accepted the soft collar quickly, and were able to comfortably eat and sleep with the collar on, but still unable to access their surgical site.

Soon word spread in Christchurch about these soft and non-traumatising head collars for cats, as well as small dogs, and we are now selling CoolCollars to clinics all over NZ.

As well as being useful and comfortable, it is great to see clients smile during a potentially stressful time when they see their pets looking cute with their CoolCollar on.
