Meet Nola 🩵🩱

The last girl of her litter to find her forever home 🥺

Hi everyone, I was born with my 6 siblings on a wet, cold, rainy night in the middle of winter. My mum, Delilah, had been looking for a safe place to have us and found a hole under a hedge. Thankfully, Paws restart came out and scooped us all up. She took us to a lovely lady called Sarah, who gave us warm blankets, toys and most importantly, lots of food for mum.
I love my family, but they are so noisy. I’m really looking forward to joining your family, where I hope it will be a little bit quieter, and you can teach me that the world is not a scary place.
I was so glad we all stayed together, as I am the smallest. Luckily, my brothers and sisters kept me warm and cosy.

My adoption fee covers:

- Worm and flea treatment upto date of adoption
- Microchip and registration to NZCAR
- weeks worth of food

Ardie has given us his Christmas Wish List 🥹❤️

His forever family, he would ideally love a home with another dog to play with and humans to love, he would also love to continue on with his training as he’s such a clever boy and loves learning new things ❤️

Born 6th June 2025, mixed breed.
Ardie was found by himself under a car in the carpark, he was quickly collected and taken to the closest vet where the nurses cared for him and desperately searched for an owner but no one came forward.

Ardie than found himself in the home of his loving foster family and had his foster sister, Kora, to show Ardie the ropes and how amazing life is with a family. Kora was once a foster herself and Ardie is desperately asking Santa to have what Kora has, a forever family.

Ardie is fully house trained, crate trained, vaccinated, know sit and is doing very well with his recall training and has been actively learning from .k9_behaviorist to become the best boy he can 🩵

Ardies adoption fee covers:

“My name is Delilah, please, please, can you help me?

I’m just a baby, maybe only a year old. Babies shouldn’t have babies. People who bring us into the world should love us like we love them.

The person who got me as a cute little puppy around Xmas didn’t want me once I got bigger, needed more food, craved more love, started barking for attention so the streets became my home.

Every day I would roam, looking for food, looking for safety, looking for help. People chased me trying to catch me, cars beeped at me and hit me, dogs chased me wanting to hurt me and they did.

One night in the middle of the coldest rainiest night in winter I knew I had to find somewhere warm and dry FAST. I burrowed under a hedge close to the road and shockingly out popped 7 puppies!!

Luckily someone heard their squeals, Paws restart came rushing out and took us to safety.

When my puppies were weaned I went to a lovely lady for short term emergency foster care. Paws restart have desperately been trying to find me a new foster home or even better a forever home but all their fosters are full. I need to move on Monday, please can you help me? I’m such a sweet girl ready for love. 💚💚💚.

I’m going to be honest, I’m scared of other dogs so am learning how to manage and work through my fear. I’m worried you’re going to leave me forever so we are learning to understand that for the rest of my life I’ll be safe. I need a home with a really tall fence, I had to learn to run and jump to be safe. I’m not ready to be around other dogs or cats. I have spent time with little people, they are so much fun to be around, especiallywhen they drop their food!!

All I want is to love on people and be loved in return, I will literally give you my heart and soul.

I’ll be your best friend forever, will you be mine?”

Meet Archie 🩵

Archie was found abandoned at a post office, struggling to walk due to worms and malnutrition. Despite his tough start, he’s turned into a loving and gentle pup! We think he was born around 16 May 2025

About Archie:
- Loves children 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
- Gets on well with other dogs 🐕
- Toilet trained🚽
- Enjoys both indoor and outdoor playtime 🏠🌳
- Doesn’t like: Loud noises, dogs that bark or sound aggressive 😬
- Commands he knows:
- “Sit” 👍
- “Come” 👣
- “Go to bed” 🛏️ (he’ll snuggle up!)
- *Working on:* “Stay” (he’s getting there!) 🤔
- *Loves:*
- Playing with soccer balls ⚽️ or rugby balls 🏉
- Playing with his toys 🎀🎁
- Going for walks on a leash 🚶‍♂️🐕
- Cuddling 💕
- *Personality:* Very gentle 🐾

Thank you to everyone who attended the adoption event yesterday and our amazing volunteers who made it super special.
Thanks also to the lovely team from Auckland Puppy Rescue, with whom we have joined forces to run these events and get even more dogs adopted.
Thanks to Petstock for the donations and for allowing us to host our adoption events at your brand new store in Westgate. We are always so grateful for how welcoming and kind your team is.

We are incredibly grateful to have received a $1000 grant from Janine and Brenda of Friends of Animals Charities. They run a charity shop in Paraparaumu, staffed completely by volunteers. All the money they raise goes to multiple rescues, an amazing thing to do to support us.
