THANK YOU WAIMATE

Today was a bit of a difficult one for me, filled with some of my regulars, it was my last day as a ‘mobile’ groomer, traveling to Waimate. I was able to spend my day with some i have done from puppies 🥰 Along with finishing my day off with a dog who was one of the first on my books in Waimate when Pretty Paws Mobile Dog Groomig was only just taking off
It’s been 5 & 1/2 years of traveling to and from Waimate, to say I am so lucky is an understatement!! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting awesome people and lovely dogs, I have been so blessed with so much loyalty and support from the small community that it has made today very bittersweet, with one door closing other doors open both for Pretty Paws and our family.

I can not thank the community of Waimate enough for all their support, past, present and future

New life, new growth, beautiful flowers begin blooming and the weather gets more noticeably warmer

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Sid

She is looking for her forever home

Sid is a dog under Pound Paws Rescue and is being fostered by a lovely couple who foster dogs regularly until they find their forever homes

Sid is a 7 year old toy poodle
She is very gentle and kind hearted (and a tad camera shy 😅) she has been a emotional support dog in the past so is very used to being with someone most of the time as she suffers from seperation anxiety, but matched with another small furry friend she could find comfort and settle nicely.
She is great with other dogs, prefers smaller as larger dogs can be a tad intimidating for her. She does prefer a quieter environmentment so not suited for children.

She would be best suited for someone retired looking for a companion to spend their days with. She really will make a great addition to someone’s life

UPDATED PRICELIST!

Below is price list updated for 2025 unfortunately with everything in this world going up, i have to too😪

Please note these prices are ‘FROM…’ so although
ouch it says $95 it can vary with size, matting, temperaments and also style of clip you are wanting.
Although a light trim sounds like less work…. It isn’t 😁
These prices also now include GST, so please if you require a GST receipt let me know and I can email one through.

I appreciate you all beyond words as you are what makes this business go round and keeps me doing a job that I absolutely love, while meeting new faces, both human and four legged!

WAIMATE ANNOUNCEMENT! 📣
Some are aware some maybe not (I’ve lost track of who i have spoken to about it 🤦🏼‍♀️)

After 5 years it saddens me that I am closing my books in Waimate. Come September I will no longer be traveling to Waimate for grooming. With Hunter turning 5 (yes 5!) it will no longer be able to fit into my day.

I will however still be grooming from Temuka and I know, and appreciate that some of you are wanting to continue using me and are willing to travel to Temuka to do so. If you would like help finding another groomer, mobile or just closer I am more than happy to pass on their numbers and also grooming information if wanted.

Tomorrow is club day down at the Geraldine Rugby Football Club. It’s a great day out supporting our local teams, up and comers and those who have a love for the sport, at all ages.

Geraldine is so lucky to have such a wonderful club rooms with a great president, an extremely involved committee and incrediblely supportive sponsors.

You’ll find Hunter, his amazing team and I running on field at 9.15 against Pleasant point Mud Pups

You’ll also see Pretty Paws on the back of number 4 at 11.45 Geraldine women’s vs Celtic and at 1.15 men’s reserve vs Mackenzie and many more fantastic sponsors on other shirts through out the day!
