Unfortunately a few changes and fancy moves in her Lvl 3 MFS with a scary big black horse next door, but still some super 7.5s and 8s in between 🙈. A big ask for Kiki doing 3 tests in one day 😴

Ru stepped back up to have a play in the GP MFS, doing some super GP work, but unfortunately just too many mistakes in the ‘easy’ bits

🎶 So rewarding to get 7.5+ for my self-made music despite only being made the day before due to being busy with exams 🎶

So grateful to be reselected onto the high performance dressage TID squad for the coming season

National 3DE 2025

Gamble bounced back well from his collision with a SJ/the ground in Dec - if only the same could be said about his rider 🙈. Despite not having jumped since then, we took a gamble (see what I did there 😂) and entered him anyway, and sure enough he was super.

2nd 🥈 after dressage on 69.7%, a beautiful clear XC and an unfortunate rail in SJ costing us the win 🥇 but stoked with a 4th 🏅 finish nonetheless!

Pav also had a run around the 80cm, doing a respectable dressage followed by a double clear to leave us 7th=. We were also runner up first time competitor at the national 3DE with a speedy XC costing a win there, however the goal was just to get her around ✅

Bring on the winter eventing season 🥶

What started as a pretty quiet HOY ended up being anything but - between competing in open teams, playing groom for Sonya Benison Equestrian and coaching .gilmore23 🥇

Kiki tried hard all weekend for some tidy tests, but just didn’t have her usual ✨sparkle✨

🥈Super 5 2B Final 70.9%
🥈6YO YDH 69.8%
🏅4th 2A 66.9%
🏅6th 2MFS Final 67.9%

Gamble was super consistent with scores up to 68.3%, picking up a 6th but otherwise sitting just outside the placings

Ashburton PL Show (p2)

Kiki performed a stunning MFS for an incredible score of 74.5% with a 78.8% from one judge!!!!! Super rewarding to have all the pieces come together at long last after a season focusing on training and building strength. Could not be more excited for her future 🎉🎉

Getting music 🎶 marks of up to 8.9 (!!!) for my self-made musicals so makes the hours (and hours and hours…..) choosing the best music and putting it all together so worthwhile. Very special ✨

Gamble had his first outing since our collision with a SJ at Canty Xmas Cracker, and he was just amazing. Despite a lot of muscle loss after being yarded for 6 weeks and only shortly under saddle again after some lunging rehab, he did 3 super tests all over 65%
