We love being bedazzled every day by all the different colours and patterns. Wild Mariner are breeding top quality Bengals as pets, for show and for breeding. We are open to send kittens and breeding quality cats overseas to an approved home. We breed Bengals because we have a passion to breed Bengals of excellent type according to NZ and International Bengal Standards. We are registered breeders
with both NZ Cat Fancy and Catz Inc. Our aim is to produce big top quality Bengals with tricoloured rosettes the same as rosetted ALCs. We are also breeding to bring dark red and deep gold to our Bengals. Please scroll down for more information. You may note that we have imported quite a few Tijah cats not only from the Tijah Cattery, but also from other Australian breeders. This is because the Tijah Cattery spends a fortune importing cats from the US, so it’s a great way for us to have those lines without the huge cost of importing them ourselves. A second big plus is that it avoids a traumatic quarantine period for cats coming into NZ. We also have Canadian and UK lines. We currently have four studs and seven queens. We imported five of the adults and have bred the rest. Watch this space for news about some fantastic Snow Bengal developments. Wild Mariner Bengals Cattery is situated on a beautiful 8-acre native bush property in Makarau, just 25 minutes from Silverdale, about 10 minutes past Kaukapakapa village. Our Eastern boundary is a river with rapids! A purpose built cattery with a 12m x 8m outdoor garden enclosure has three levels for them to play, with trees they can climb, and grass to eat. We have big trellis climbing frames as well and they really love it there.
