The stunning RPH Bonbon 🍬

18-month-old filly by Bonhoeffer, out of a beautiful GT Jake mare ✨

Already standing over 16hh, she’s a big, athletic young horse with a seriously exciting future ahead. She has the most incredible movement — naturally balanced, expressive, and light on her feet 🤎

Bred with dressage in mind, she also shows plenty of natural jumping ability, making her a very exciting prospect for a serious eventing home.

She’s arrived home safely at Ruakōkoputuna and has settled in beautifully. We’re really looking forward to watching her grow and develop from here.🤎

We naturally wean here, so she’s still running with her mother — no trauma, no rush. Just steady, secure foundations 🌿 Weaning is one of the most stressful events in a young horse’s life, so we choose to do it differently.

Warmbloods should have elasticity, power and presence — that sensitivity and expression is what makes them special 💫 But they don’t need to be reactive or difficult. When they start life secure and confident, that brilliance sits on top of calm.

RPH BONBON – Yearling Filly (NZWA Merit 2025) 🐴✨

RPH Bonbon is a 1-year-old filly by Bonhoeffer out of a GT Jake mare. She is NZWA registered and received a Merit on the 2025 Classification Tour, continuing to develop beautifully since.
• Beautiful, elevated movement
• Real head-turner with scope and quality
• Expected to mature around 17hh

Bonbon is currently available for viewing in the Waikato and will be based in the Wairarapa before Christmas. She will be ready for her new home from January 2026.

A great day on Tuesday learning from the very knowledgeable assessors during the latest Nz Warmblood Association Inc classification tour. RPH My Sweet Lord and RPH Bonbon turning it on for their audience. Both foals received Merits from the assessors and were complimented for their type and movement.

Expressions of interest in Pepe, our extraordinary dark brown filly by Quando Unico out of a Rip Van Winkle (pink papered) Mare. Pepe is super confident and athletic, with a delightful temperament.
Pepe has a natural jumping ability and is very athletic.
She was born owning the world and is the dream of any professional rider or ambitious competent amateur. Her paces are extraordinary, her sire Quando Unico was ridden by the extremely talented Simone Pierce in Germany is one of the top German stallions.

Quando Unico is a stallion for top dressage prospects. He was premium stallion and held the price record, as well as “winner of all hearts”, at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden in 2016. He embodies the modern dressage horse in type and conformation with all three basic gaits being of the best quality. His first tests under saddle met high expectations. The Hanoverian breeding manager Dr. Werner Schade said: “He is gifted with all attributes a top dressage horse needs today.”
The bloodline is impeccable. The only Quando Unico currently in New Zealand could be yours.

Very excited for our 2023 foals! We have confirmed pregnancies to two incredible stallions, Confess Color and Fusionist.

1. Hennesy DHU in foal to Confess Color. Henny is by Appleton DHU out of a KWPN mare.

2. Maggie in foal to Fusionist. Maggie is by Doringcourt out of Pandora (NZWB).

What a great end to 2022!
