Established in 2019 we are small family kennel located in the Horowhenua showing & breeding quality, sound, healthy English Springer Spaniels for the family home, show ring, and dog sports. We are a family with a love & passion for the breed - our dogs health and wellbeing are our first priority... making profit and producing puppies to 'orders' or demand is not in our beliefs. Any mating is done

A big Happy Birthday to our 2024 Galatic Litter babies - Arthur, Jock, Meg & Nina - who all turn 1 year old today 🎂 🥳🐾

Well done to their families for surviving the first year of puppyhood too, it's the best feeling hearing how clever, silly, and absolutely adored they all are in their loving homes ❤️ here are some lovely photos I've received of them enjoying life and all of its adventures:

A nice surprise to see our home bred girl Nina as a wee pup on the cover of Dogs New Zealand NZ Dog World Magazine - such a gorgeous litter, all very happy in their forever homes ❤️ Nina is still with us and is still a hooligan on the daily, chasing balls, eating pears, and entertaining our toddler.

I had some very enthusiastic spectators this afternoon in the garden, Hazel & Nina - who are both related, Nina's (R) sire Dylan is also Hazel's (L) Grand-sire and I sure can see the resemblance. Hazel is 9 years old now whereas Nina is 9mo, the beauty of frozen goods 🧊

What an awesome update from John and Jock, attending their very first Ribbon Parade at Auckland Spaniel Club and bringing home some very nice ribbons!

Best Baby Puppy of Breed, Reserve of Breed, 1st in Best Coat Stakes, and another 1st for Best Feet Stakes (I must say he does have lovely twinkle toes!)

His mum Olive and I are very proud of Jock, and so happy that Jock has such a perfect home with John & family who have been raising him to be such a happy go lucky confident dude 🌟 Well done Jock & John!

A super update from John, Jocks owner, who did some introductions to the gun today with the help his friend Pat - 'shot 4 different types of amo from about 70 metres away including some clay shooting he never bated an eye'. Good boy Jock, and great work John 💪

Two of our puppies had their very first show experience at Manawatu Kennel Association Ribbon Parade today in Ashhurst. Nina & Arthur did fab in a completely new & busy environment, and they got to see a variety of other dogs, from Min Pins to a Great Dane!
My young boy also had his first go at Junior Handlers, so cute! ❤️

We have a visitor!

Arther, formerly Atlas, has dropped by and is hanging with the crew for a short time while his family is on holiday in the sunshine ☀️

He is such a delight to have around, his new family are doing wonders with his training and he is a very clever boy - isn't he a spitting image of his mother Olive ❤️

Hazelmoor English Springer Spaniels is a small family run kennel created in 2019 and located in the Horowhenua region of the North Island, New Zealand.

We’ve had English Springers in our lives for a number of years (and generations!) as much loved family pets and companions. We adore the combination of beauty and brains, wrapped up in a loving temperament and willingness to please that makes up this wonderful breed.

Our vision is to breed classic & quality English Springer Spaniels who adhere to the breed standard, and are happy and healthy in the show ring, the field, and in the family home.
