All set up at the Rangiora Santa Parade & Christmas Party in the Park ! Lots of house plants all $5-$10 πŸͺ΄πŸ˜. Santa parade coming through at 2pm and the market on until 4pm with plenty of fantastic stalls and food!

It's been a hot minute since I've been active on here! It's been a busy time getting the shop emptied and ready for whoever takes over the space and now the last job is to clear the rest of the stock I have on hand! Everything has been even more reduced in price to make sure everything goes.

It's already almost half way through the year and Christmas will be here before we know it. Perfect timing to stock up the gift cupboard before our funky homewares are gone for good!

Some gorgeous new plants arrived in store this week 😍. I just had to order an extra Alocasia Stingray and a Syngonium Holly for myself too!

I also had a load of Hoya cuttings I propagated ready to go! Double planted with new growth looking awesome. These babies will take off 🀩.

The Benjamina makes a perfect statement plant as they're fairly fast growing and can be pruned into the shape you prefer.
Something to keep in mind is in their natural environment in the wild, they will drop their leave sat the start if the dry season. So basically be careful not to let them fully dry out as this signals to them that its time to drop leaves!

The basically indestructible houseplant! These guys are the kings of neglect as they have large rhizomes (which kind of look like potatoes) that grow beneath the soil and are packed full of nutrients and water.
So basically they have their own reserves they can get everything they need from and don't need a hell of a lot from you!

Where's all my fellow pink plant lovers?! Easy care, pink & beautiful!

A top tip with these guys is you can manipulate how they grow... Give them something to climb and the vines will grow tall and you get a large statement plant quickly, or cut the vines when it tries to start climbing and you'll keep it as a small yet bushy plant. (Don't forget to propagte the vines to make more plants!)

Find me at my stall on Sundays at the North Canterbury Sunday Market at the Rangiora Racecourse (9am-2pm). I'll have different plants each week so give this page a like to keep up to date with what I've got growing!
