Egmont Skins & Hides Ltd I buy in possum bodies, fur, and possums for pet food. When I was 8 years old I started trapping possums, tacking the skins out for some pocket money.

I left school and then at 19 I bought my own property out of my savings. Built the present factory and became a professional trapper. Manufacturing cyanide, selling traps and became NZ's biggest possum skin processor, tacking out up to 4000 per day and drying up to 2000 per night. In 1984 I broke the New Zealand possum skinning record 12.3 seconds. Over the years the business has grown into wool, Hides, casualty calves,and processing rabbits, hares and possum into pet food.
