Perkins Quarter Horses finished off the South Island rodeo's for the year with a bang at Maniototo on Saturday!
Congratulations to everyone and their teams!!
Clayton Perkins and "Miss Kitty" won the Jnr Barrel race, Tegan Hood riding "Demi" won the 2nd Division Barrel race and Brooke Atkinson riding "Methven" won the Open Barrel race!
Talk about being so proud of these horses and jockeys!!
The multi time NZ barrel horse of the year "Methven" is by one of our Stallions; "Argyle Roc T Heart" who was by Sonny T Bar, out of tb mare, bred by Jen and Stacey.
Demi is out of Jack (Breeze Moore) by PC Peppy Jack Frost and Miss Kitty is out of Steel our Sonny T Bar Mare by a Sophisticated Catt C**t called Boy(Owned by Richard Bekhuis).
AND there is more............
Kaylee Hood Riding Matilda (Argyle Roc T Heart x Barbara) and Tegan Hood Riding Demi both placed 5th and 6th respectively in the Pat McGrath South Island Rodeo Series.
Showing great consistency in their barrel racing week in and week out! Well Done!!
