🎉Congratulations🎉 to the winner of our Christmas Giveaway, the deserving Mandy at Hungry Dogs of Tepuke. 🐾🎄 Mandy dedicates her time to local dog training, grooming and canine hydrotherapy. She also runs Hungry Dogs of Tepuke which involves rescuing dogs from a bad situation, de-sexing and rehoming. This incredible woman gives her own money and time to help the community feed animals in need and homes these dogs herself until they can find their perfect forever home. Although so many deserving dog parents, we really wanted to send some Christmas cheer to her and her 3 very own power breed rescues Balby, Bruce and Manaia. Thank you Tracey for her nomination, we love to hear about such great people. Merry Christmas Mandy! Earnie and Odin said keep up your amazing and much needed work. 🎄🐾🤍

Not only do we love pretty collars and bandanas, we love practical. Hilda the Weimaraner has recently come back from the “roar” (for our town folk, that’s the ideal NZ deer hunting time), in her custom made double fleece lined jacket. Faced with negative temperatures, her jacket helped provide additional warmth in the evenings and early mornings. Quick drying and productive, we love being able to help her out. I’ve been a bit quiet on the socials and the truth is, I think I just needed a break.

Dealing with the festive madness, markets and life in general. I decided to allow myself some time. It’s been so important to restore some balance and reflect on how far things have come and the amazing people I have met.

It’s taken such a long time to put myself out there, anyone who knows me knows how scary that was (I’m my own toughest critic). But I remind myself, everything is handmade by me, from my home outside my normal life and job.

I love this hobby and passion, sewing for all our beautiful fur babies. Fills my cup. I’ve realised it’s important to take risks, celebrate the wins and learn from the losses.

Honestly my heart is full with love from the support of you amazing friends, long may it continue. 💛 I will be back in the next couple weeks with some fun new summery collars and bandanas. For now I leave you with a picture of my fur baby Earnie enjoy his summertime fun. 💛☀️🌊 🇳🇿
