We are excited to offer another two sponsored memberships for the 2024/2025 season!

Who Can Apply:
▫️ Anyone who has or is currently experiencing some form of of hardship (physical, financial etc).
◽️ Have your own horse or pony (or lease one).
◽️ Be a new or existing member of CVPC!

All we ask in return, is that you foster the pony club values and spirit by giving back to the club (e.g. attending working bees, volunteering at events) and regularly attend rallies if you are 25 years and under.

If you would like to apply, please email [email protected] with 500 words or less about yourself and how you would contribute or give back to the CVPC community!

Applications close: 1 September 2025

Please note: applications will be treated confidentially and will be granted at the discretion of the Executive Committee. Riders who are granted sponsorship will remain anonymous.

Friendly reminder that CVPC uniforms can be worn by all rally riders (including adult riders) and supporters (think parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and more)!

If you have uniforms that have been outgrown, we will have a uniform buy/swap/sell on Sunday 21 September which is our key exchange day! 🔑

🤩 LEAD REIN & FIRST YEAR RIDDEN RALLY GROUP! 🤩

Do you have a young rider who would love to start attending Pony Club rallies? Then come and join our fun and friendly lead rein and first year ridden rally group! We offer a safe and supportive environment for young riders to learn the basics of horsemanship.

What we offer:
⭐️ Fun games and activities
⭐️ A chance to make new friends
⭐️ Introduction to the Pony Club syllabus
⭐️ Lead Rein Achievement Card

When: Wednesday evenings during the season!

💐 LYNETTE HERBKE - LIFE MEMBER OF CVPC 💐

"We wish to acknowledge and thank Lynette for her ongoing support of Coatesville Pony Club. Lynette has been a member for over 35 years and holds a wealth of historical knowledge of Coatesville Pony Club. Lynette has significantly contributed to the club in several different roles which has included being a junior rally instructor, club treasurer of 10 years, grounds key manager for the past 15 years as well as our chief rail painter! Lynette is always willing and ready to help the club in any way she can. We are very grateful for Lynette's ongoing support and dedication."

🔎 SEARCHING FOR: RALLY COACHES 🔍

Coatesville Pony Club is looking for passionate and experienced coaches to join our team for the 2025/2026 season!

What We Are Looking For
🔹 Enthusiastic coaches with knowledge of the NZPC syllabus and previous coaching experience!
🔹 Be a supportive and encouraging role model with a high standard of horse welfare!
🔹 Organisational skills to create fun lesson plans that will keep riders engaged and learning!
🔹 Willingness to be an active member of our Pony Club Community!

What It Involves
🔹 Coaching at our weekly Junior (Wednesday) & Senior (Tuesday) rallies. Or alternatively, on a casual basis as a Specialist Coach.
🔹 Coach by the NZPC syllabus and ensure rider record of training cards are signed off as required.
🔹 Be committed to coach development with support to do so from the Club/District/Area.
🔹 Be reliable, punctual and have a genuine interest young people and horse welfare.
🔹 Ensure all members are treated equally and with respect & create opportunities for them all to achieve.
