By rubbing a dog's ears you are giving them pleasure and relaxing them in a way that they enjoy quite a bit. ...
Not only that, rubbing a dog's ears stimulates the hypothalamus and the pituitary glands in a dog. These glands then release endorphins in the dog.
We all know how endorphins can make a human happy.

Nothing better than lying in the sunshine, all snuggled up with my brother and sister, drifting off for a nap.

Right now, they’re my very best friends in the whole wide world. I haven’t met many other dogs yet, so they’ve got top spot!

But I’ve heard that when I move to my new home, I’ll get to go exploring, meet new friends, and maybe even find some more best friends along the way.
That sounds pretty exciting too.

For now though… I’m just going to stay here, warm and happy, with my little family.

Did you know my brother is my best friend?
We're always together. We play together, explore together, and we even have our afternoon naps all snuggled up.

But... when it comes to food, that's a different story!
He always tries to push me out of the way so he can get there first.

So, maybe he's only my best friend between mealtimes! 😂
