🐾 Meet Biscuit & Her 12 Little Bikkies 🐾

We have a new name for mumma she is now Biscuit (previously Biggie). She suits it perfectly and has adjusted so well, so of course her 12 pups had to be named after biscuits too. That’s right… we now have 12 little Bikkies! 🍪🐶

Pip, Toni, Alarna and Ally had so much fun naming the pups, each one matched to their sweet and cheeky personalities that are now beginning to shine through. Dr Leanne even named Tammy aka Tim Tam 🩷

We are especially thankful to Toni and Alarna for giving Biscuit and her babies a safe, loving space to grow and thrive. Biscuit is still a tentative mumma, but she is teaching her little bikkies all the important doggy manners they’ll need. Meanwhile, Toni and Alarna have already started introducing training to the pups to get them ready for the big world that awaits. 💜

Now it’s time to look ahead we are searching for foster families and forever homes for these pups. Everything will be provided all you need to do is offer a safe environment, love, and keep up with their training. 🩵🩷🐾

✨ Check out their photos and names below we can’t wait for you to meet the Bikkies crew! xo

‼️We urgently need your help $4,000 for existing vet bills and $3,500 for Rango’s surgery ‼️

As you know, we’ve got a lot happening right now with Rango’s surgery at Takanini Vets, our ongoing work with Vet Trust Henderson, and the next round of care for our pups. 🩺

🙏We still need to clear the outstanding bill at Vet Trust Henderson so that we can move forward with the second round of vaccinations for our older pups. On top of that, we still have five dogs waiting to be desexed before they can take their next step toward forever homes.

We truly wish we didn’t have to ask, but every bit of help gets us closer to where we need to be. While we are preparing funding applications with our accountant (a process that takes time), right now we are relying on the kindness of our community to bridge the gap.

Your support makes it possible for us to:
🐾 Keep vaccinations up to date
🐾 Desex dogs ready for adoption
❤️‍🩹Ensure cats like Rango receive the surgeries they need

If you’re able to contribute big or small it makes a direct and immediate difference. Thank you for standing with us and helping us keep moving forward for the dogs who rely on us.

💌 Donations can be made to:
Bank: Sweet Noah Animal Rescue
Account: 38-9027-0181009-00
Reference: Vet Trust or Rango

Together, we keep tails wagging and paws healthy. 🐶🐈

THIS CYCLE NEEDS TO STOP….❤️‍🩹
We had an emergency call from our vet on Wednesday about 3 puppies dropped off after they were found on the road - the owner was known to the finder as an incredibly volatile individual so finder contacted spca who declined taking them as they were not injured or sick.
3 more pups were found later that day from the same property and although we tried hard to get them from the person that found them - they were given away.
This morning another pup from the same litter was dropped at our vet - thankfully now this little one is safe, but we are very concerned for the 3 others that were given away after a Facebook post went up about them 😢

As you know we are struggling for fosters, funds and food 😔

We had no available fosters to take these beautiful pups but we have managed to get them safe with the help of another rescue.
They have all been heath checked by our vet, given first vaccinations and flea and worm treatment…

If you are able to help us with their costs we would be incredibly grateful 🙏🏼

We have passed what food we had left to the rescue taking them as they are also struggling ❤️‍🩹

Thank you friends, ANY help is much appreciated x

🌴💪 Massive Thanks to Hardfell Arborists 💪🌴

A huge shout-out to the incredible team at Hardfell Arborists
for coming out and safely taking down a nasty phoenix palm.

For anyone who doesn’t know, phoenix palms aren’t just messy they’re dangerous. Their sharp, toxic spines can break off in the skin, causing painful, infection-prone injuries that sometimes require surgery (in extreme cases even amputation). Add to that the risk of heavy falling fronds damaging people, animals, or property, and corrosive sap that can destroy chainsaws and you can see why this job is best left to skilled professionals.

By removing the palm, Hardfell has helped us make the property safer for the rescues who will soon call this space their haven. 🐾❤️

The Hardfell crew were professional, efficient, and an absolute pleasure to work with. If you ever need arborist work done well and safely, we can’t recommend them enough reach out to the awesome team at Hardfell. 🌟https://hardfell.co.nz/

From all of us (two-legged and four-legged alike), thank you Hardfell your mahi helps us keep our rescues safe 🐾❤️

HELP NEEDED FOR Rango….🧡

Rango came into care earlier in the year when he was rescued by our awesome friend Leah.
She lovingly cared for him but unfortunately had to give up rescue due to serious health issues.
We are grateful to Leah and all the support she gave these vulnerable babies.
As you know when tiny kittens are picked up from the community, they are already generally very sick, and have been exposed to so much.
The risk of dying from infection is high.
They fight to live but alot of the time we do lose them 💔

If you remember, we got Rango and Mika together from Leah, and while they seemed to be okay, their little bodies were struggling.
We lost Mika a week later 😢

Rango kept fighting….he was in and out of the vets constantly as he struggled to eat, breathe and keep up with the other cats.
6 months later and Rango took a turn for the worst and was rushed to one of our vet clinics.

He suffered what was thought to be a seizure - however after a further vet visit and exploratory tests, it’s confirmed Rango has inflammatory polyps in his ear canal.
Rango will need Ventral bulla osteotomy surgery 🙏🏼

This morning I took him to Vet Associates in Takanini and they quoted around $3500 for Rangos surgery.

Rango is tentatively booked in for surgery next Tuesday - ONLY if we can get the funds for him ❤️‍🩹

I would have organised a givealittle page but we need his surgery sooner rather than later

Can you please help us to get Rangos surgery done?

Rango is currently having to be monitored and kept isolated due to issues with walking & the infected ear drums & polyps affecting his balance.
He really needs this surgery friends….

Please see rescue account below for Rango ❤️‍🩹

Dear supporters,

As you know, mumma and her 12 puppies had their first vaccinations yesterday a big milestone as they get ready for their next steps in life. 🐾

We are so thankful to Dr Leanne and the team at Vet Trust Henderson for their wonderful care and support. Every pup was given a clean bill of health, and mumma also received her vaccination. 💜

But with so many little ones, the costs quickly add up. The vet bills for these vaccinations have come to $805, and as a small rescue we simply can’t cover this without asking for help.

We know times are tough, but if you can spare even a little, it will go directly towards giving mumma and her babies the very best start. Together we can clear these bills and keep this beautiful family safe, healthy, and on their way to loving foster homes.

🐾Today was a big day for our little family. 🐾

Mumma and her 12 puppies who are now 7 weeks old, had their very first vaccinations and a full health check with our wonderful Dr Leanne every single one got a perfect tick of health. 💉💚

Mumma is still doing an amazing job raising her babies, and they’re now being supplemented with puppy biscuits as they grow stronger, louder, and cheekier by the day 🥰

🙏 We need some help.

The cost of vet care and vaccinations for 12 pups is a big stretch for us, and once again we are reaching out to our amazing community to please lend a hand. Even the smallest donation helps us keep mumma and her babies healthy and ready for their next steps.

We are endlessly grateful to you all for sharing, fostering, donating, and walking this journey with us. And thank you to Dr Leanne, Toni and Alarna for your kindness and care for our rescue family.❤️

🐾 Community Puppies Looking for Homes 🐾

We’ve stepped in to help a local family rehome their gorgeous pups, and now we’re on the lookout for loving forever homes or urgent fosters.

🐾About the Puppies:

Good-natured, happy, and well-socialised
Will grow to be medium–large sized dogs
Mum is a Staffy X mix, dad unknown
Healthy, playful, and already showing their own little personalities

The family first reached out to us back in August. They’ve been doing their very best to care for the pups until homes can be found, and Sweet Noah Animal Rescue has stepped in to help by providing food, crates, blankets, and toys.

💉 The adoption fee helps cover the costs of vaccinations and worming through the rescue, ensuring each pup gets the best start possible.

🏡 With the family now moving, the need for homes has become urgent. Please help us find these little ones the love and security they deserve.

📩 If you’re interested in adopting or fostering, please reach out via the TradeMe link below or email us at [email protected]
