With the recent awareness in the community that CDDY is present in the breed, I'm happy to say that both of my dogs are clear.

I've been DNA testing all of my dogs for the past 15 years. Both Poppy and Halo were tested as puppies and have been retested several times as new tests became available and to keep their profiles up to date.

If you haven't tested your Bedlington yet, please consider doing so. The more data we collect, the better we can understand whether this gene has any impact on our breed.

Few days ago we got vaccinated for the first time :) We all behaved very well, the vet was pleasantly surprised with how chilled they where on the table.

All was good, very healthy and fat puppies :P

Because we’re expecting 30-degree weather here, we decided to upgrade the garden a little bit. The little rascals had figured out that if they bent the wires of my fence just enough, they could squeeze through and attack my sunflower seedlings...

So, with a few extra security measures in place, we’re ready for a couple of days of perfect weather!

Last week we got microchipped by the RVB, so we got our pedigree names :)
