Keeping Leucillin happy!

The purple bottle is not just an awesome colour, it is there to offer UV protection for the solution. Always keep your Leucillin in its original packaging and out of direct sunlight. As long as the solution is clear and it smells of swimming pool then it is active.

Excessive heat will denature the active ingredient so watch out for leaving a bottle in a car on a hot summers day or next to a heat lamp. Cool and dark is ideal but remember to smell the solution if you are not sure. Swimming pool = still active.

“Good morning, I just wanted to tell you about my Izzy. We got to the field on Friday and found her with a massive cut on her hamstring. Now Izzy is a Thoroughbred so obviously she was acting like she had lost her leg in a freak lion attack 😂! Now here is the luckiest thing I spoke to you at The Equine Show at NEC and bought a big bottle just in case something like this happens, which it does regularly with Izzy. I have flushed it with the Leucillin twice a day for three days and wanted to show you the massive improved already. Shout it from the roof tops it’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever used. I’ve been round horses for 40 years and tried every product under the sun but never experienced something which actually does what it says!! It actually works!! Amazing stuff
The only thing out direct on the wound has been Leucillin. She’s had oral antibiotics but we even flushed it with it, going through the bottles but it’s incredible stuff” 😊

Leucillin is effective for thrush and also provides a quick, easy and environmentally friendly way to prevent it.

Pick out the hooves and spray generously over the entire area, making sure Leucillin reaches all cracks and crevices. It can only kill the pathogens it contacts, so good coverage is key. For active thrush, pick out and spray at least twice daily.

Leucillin is suitable for both barefoot and shod horses, is mess-free, non-slip and works well with hoof boots. It can also be used with a poultice or as a flush for cracks where needed. It is competition safe for FEI/Jockey Club
