For sale:

Our work is done! Here is the result of a restoration with retaining the original original colors and all imperfections such as staples that fit this antique horse: from the workshop of J. Hübner - A. Poeppig, dated between 1895-1904.
This came to us with cm's thick layers of paint as a white horse.
Removing these thick layers revealed the original colors and
the absolute magnificent carvings.
A large magnificent horse.: I am happy! 🙂

We have completed this restoration and are happy with the result.
Now for sale for a client with a lot of space...

Yes! almost ready and will be sold...
The puritans might think that this is terrible, but we have restored it to our taste (and the horses according at that time/period) and also considering its age with all the imperctions that have been preserved.

This is a very large Ayres from circa 1890. The bars of the chairs have been partially replaced and restored in the past century, as well as the bow. We have not changed this.

Originally there was a "women's saddle" with pommels on each side/holes in the back. There was no saddle pad with nails attached.
We have therefore decided to replace the saddle with one of our own designed saddles with embroidery (dark green), with dark green bridle and harness.
We partially gilded the bow and the seats with gold paint.

Our website is now going to be updated, so this horse won't be updated for a while.

Hope you like it and yes... our workshop is a mess at this moment :-)

This antique Heyn is ready! and now for sale.

Height - including standard approx. 1.11 m.
Length: about 1.10 m.
There are 2 types of restorations:
1. completely change and make as new... and
2. restore the horse with all its imperfections with the correct old colors and oil paint.
We always go for the latest (2nd) version.

we cannot keep them all...:-( but a lovely horse!

Almost finished! A restoration of a Frederik Heyn horse from Germany, dated approx 1920. Originally in a "hanging karussell", the horses then hung on chains and swung around.
This horse has a special feature: it has manes on 2 sides, which means that it could be used for German carousels, but also for English carousels.
We haven't seen a second one...it is very rare!.
This horse will be sold as soon as it is ready.

Some of our new stars: this dapple gray is far from its final stage (so don't look at the color of saddle etc.).

In addition, we would like to show you our work from "Porthos" in his last stage
Because we work with old techniques from the time of Rembrandt (the famous Dutch painter) with oil, pigment, chalk flour, sometimes drying processes take a very long time (apart from the many layers we use to make our horses look the way we like them to look). )
So patience (also for us ..) is requested).
