*CANINE OWNERS AND BREEDERS ASSOCIATION(COBA), NIGERIA 🇳🇬 ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB 🇨🇦 (CKC) FOR MUTUAL ACCEPTANCE OF PEDIGREES*
Lagos, Nigeria – Canine Owners And Breeders Association(COBA) - the official National registry for purebred and non-purebred dogs in Nigeria, is proud to announce that the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), will now accept pedigrees issued by COBA through it’s Foreign Registration program.
This recognition marks another historic milestone for Nigeria’s canine community and establishes a bridge between breeders, owners, and enthusiasts in Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Canada 🇨🇦.
Dogs born in Nigeria and registered with COBA will now be eligible to participate in Canadian Kennel Club sanctioned events, provided they meet all the requirements, including foreign registration.
This development represents a shared vision: advancing canine welfare, promoting responsible breeding, and strengthening the role of dogs as companions, working, and athletes worldwide.
