..so last week the H.C, , Ms. and Special Adviser on Agriculture, Dr Fashola whom i call the duo of Lagos Agric Power House hosted a Breakfast Meeting with Food Systems Stakeholders in Lagos State to officially launch the LAGOS STATE AGRICULTURAL AND FOOD SYSTEMS ROADMAP (2021- 2025) which explains Governor jidesanwoolu THEMES+ AGENDA towards Food security and Food substantially in Lagos state..

So the major highlights of the programs as listed by the Ministry are as follows:

1. The Food value chain Destination explains how it will be easy for Lagosians to get access to affordable Food through the establishment of the across the LGAs in the state.

2. The Agribusiness Support is an initiative built to provide adequate support to Agribusiness stakeholders in the state across the value chain Enterprise while looking at youth initiatives.

3. The Red Meat value chain initiative. Because Lagos consumes over N350Billion worth of beef 🐄 annually it is important that state invest heavily on it's Red meat value chain right from the production to the Table.

4. Champions of the Future: This is the most interesting part of the whole programme where Mr Governor is focusing 100% on Youth Agricultural programs and initiatives especially Scholars programs for the secondary school children who will help champion agriculture for the Future of Lagos state. Special thanks to the Honorable Commissioner for Budget + the chairman on agriculture of the Lagos state House of assembly ( ) the head of service and all players of the Food system
