London Stansted Airport (STN) is one of the major international airports serving London, United Kingdom. Located approximately 42 miles (68 km) northeast of Central London in Essex, it is the fourth busiest airport in the UK in terms of passenger traffic. It is a hub for low-cost carriers, with Ryanair operating a significant number of flights to destinations across Europe and beyond.
The airport features a single runway and a modern terminal designed by Sir Norman Foster.
