In dog breeding, a single ignored fault, genetic, temperamental, or structural, doesn’t stay small. Genetics has no emotions and no mercy. What you tolerate in one generation becomes amplified in the next. A weak nerve, poor health, bad hips, or hidden hereditary disease can quietly spread, erasing years of hard work.

Breeding is not just passion; it is responsibility. Every mating is a genetic decision that affects the future. True breeders study bloodlines, understand inheritance, and have the courage to say no when a dog is not fit to reproduce.
You don’t protect a breeding program by how many puppies you produce, but by how many mistakes you refuse to repeat.

In dog breeding, 1 + 1 is NOT always 2.

Pairing a good male with a good female doesn’t guarantee great puppies. Genetics doesn’t follow mathematics.

Good dogs can produce average or faulty pups.
The same parents can produce different results in different litters. Weaknesses combine faster than strengths if you’re careless. Breeding is about probability, inheritance, and expression, not looks or titles alone.
