1⃣ 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 ☑
First and foremost, make sure you're using a flea and tick prevention product recommended by your veterinarian. There are many different types of products available, including topical treatments, collars, and oral medications. Your vet can help you choose the best product for your cat's needs.
2⃣ 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ❎⛔
In addition to using a flea and tick prevention product, there are other steps you can take to reduce the risk of infestation. Keep your cat indoors as much as possible, especially during peak flea and tick season (usually spring and summer). When your cat does go outside, avoid areas where fleas and ticks are likely to be present, such as tall grasses and wooded areas.

Regular grooming can also help prevent fleas and ticks. Use a flea comb to comb through your cat's fur, and check for any signs of fleas or ticks. If you do find fleas or ticks, remove them promptly using tweezers or a special tick removal tool.
