- cages have a bottom tray far from the cage, making it easy to clean with urine pads (Shopee: Urine Pad, M size).

*Avoid: Nuts such as peanuts, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, processed human food, and other animal feed. Grapes and raisins are also to be avoided.*
*In Moderation:👇*

Sweet Potato, Spinach, Walnuts, Beets, Chinese Kale, Mustard Greens, Bell Pepper, Strawberries, Grapes, Blueberries, etc., high oxalic acid content may affect calcium absorption, so it's advised in small amounts.
*Meat (cooked):*
- Chicken Breast (wings and wingtips are also acceptable, skin removed), Salmon (lean and in small amounts), Shrimp (occasional small amount), Chicken Eggs (fully cooked), Quail Eggs (fully cooked) - only steamed with plain water. Meat can also be minced and made into meatballs with a small amount of vegetables and eggs. I prefer mixing and freezing them in ice trays, steaming them when needed. No seasoning or starch should be added.
(Note: Avoid giving egg yolks alone as it may cause choking. Egg whites can be given in small amounts. Seafood should be fed in very limited quantities, and other types should not be experimented with.)
*Important: Nursing mothers require double protein supplementation, e.g., if they usually eat 10 mealworms at a time, during lactation, they need 20 mealworms per day. It is recommended to feed insects during the day to avoid affecting nighttime feeding. If feeding mealworms, be cautious about replacing them with other meaty insects, as excessive or frequent feeding of mealworms can lead to black tooth spots. (No similar issues found with other insects). Additionally, it's advisable to add HPW Original Powder to the main diet (0.5g-1g per glider).
3. **Supplements:**
- Consider ExoticNutrition's calcium powder and booster (vitamins) for increase immunity.
4. **Nail Trimming:**
- Trim nails every week.
5. **Male and Female Differences:**
- Males may experience hair loss on the head and chest, females have less odors.
6. **Bathing:**
- Males can be bathed, females cannot (due to pouch). Dry with paper, avoid using a hairdryer, especially near the ears.
7. **Companionship:**
- Requires companionship to avoid depression. Ideally kept in pairs.
8. **Preference for Eucalyptus Leaves:**
- Sugar gliders like eucalyptus leaves for comfort and insect repellent.

*(Note: The mentioned feeder insects are common choices. Reduce quantities for gliders aged 2-4 months, and avoid catching any insects from outside for feeding. The suggested amounts are based on individual and community practices, serving as a reference. Excessive mealworm consumption may lead to black tooth .)*
*(Suggested feeding frequency: 3-4 times per week, ensuring each time does not exceed a moderate intake of proteins.)*
