Dr. Francis Ng!:)

Scientists believe dogs may be evolving in real time, as their behavior and intelligence adapt more deeply to human life.

Research shows many dogs now recognize human emotions, follow social cues, and even outperform primates in certain communicative tasks. In cities, stray dogs have been seen using crosswalks and riding public transport, suggesting rapid cognitive shifts. These changes, along with genetic differences from wolves, point to a new chapter in canine evolution-one driven largely by their unique bond with humans.

Unbelievable

The 400-Year-Old Arctic Predator 🐋
Deep beneath the icy waters of the Arctic Ocean swims a living time capsule — the Greenland shark.
Scientists have discovered that some of these slow-moving giants were born as far back as 1627, making them the longest-living vertebrates on Earth.
Growing just 1 cm a year, they can reach over 16 feet in length and don’t even reach adulthood until around 150 years old.
This means some of them were alive before the United States existed, before Newton published his laws of motion, and even before the Taj Mahal was completed.
A true survivor of the deep, gliding through centuries untouched.

The Alaskan wood frog has an incredible ability to survive being frozen solid during winter. Its heart stops, it stops breathing, and even brain activity ceases—yet it doesn’t die. According to research from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, this frog uses glucose and urea to protect its organs from ice damage. When temperatures rise in spring, it thaws out and comes back to life as if nothing happened. Scientists study this process to better understand possible breakthroughs in medicine and cryopreservation.
