Mérida’s heat is no joke! As temperatures rise, it’s important to keep your pets cool, safe, and comfortable. Here’s how:

🐾 Hydration is Key – Always provide fresh, cool water and bring extra when going out.
🐾 Shade & Shelter – Keep pets indoors during peak heat (11 AM - 4 PM) or ensure they have shady spots outside.
🐾 Walk Smart – Pavement can burn paws! Place the back of your hand on the ground to test if the temperature is cool enough for your pets to comfortably walk. Best advice is to walk pets early in the morning or after sunset. 🌅
🐾 Never Leave Pets in Cars – Even a few minutes can be deadly in Mérida’s extreme heat! 🚗💨

When we first arrived in Mérida, we had no idea that our very first pet sitting clients—Oso & Rambo (Bo for short)—would steal our hearts! These two massive, rescued beach dogs are giant teddy bears, full of love and personality. 🐕🐕
