Hoy fue un día muy especial… y también uno de esos días en los que dolió no poder estar presente. ❤️

Una gran mujer decidió apoyar la causa organizando una venta de deliciosa birria, entregando todo de ella con muchísimo cariño y esfuerzo. Estoy profundamente agradecida con cada persona que se dio la vuelta, comió delicioso y al mismo tiempo apoyó a nuestros rescatados. 🙏🏻🐾

Más allá de lo recaudado, hoy me llevo algo aún más valioso: la satisfacción de ver que cada vez más personas creen en este proyecto y se unen a BajaMixLto. Hoy somos más, y eso me llena el corazón de esperanza.

Gracias por apoyar, compartir, consumir y creer en esta causa. Todo esto existe gracias a ustedes.

Today was a very special day… and also one of those days where it hurt not being able to be there in person. ❤️

An incredible woman decided to support the cause by organizing a delicious birria fundraiser, giving her all with so much love and dedication. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who stopped by, enjoyed amazing food, and at the same time supported our rescued dogs. 🙏🏻🐾

Beyond the money raised, what truly fills my heart today is seeing more and more people joining and believing in the BajaMixLto project. Today we are more, and that gives me so much hope.

Thank you for supporting, sharing, showing up, and believing in this cause. None of this would be possible without you.

MEET RUDI 🐶🐾

Rudi is one of those dogs that quietly steals your heart 🥹🤍

He’s a beautiful little Baja boy with the sweetest gentle soul, but it’s clear life was not always kind to him. While he is never aggressive, Rudi takes time to fully trust people and still feels unsure about being touched at first 😔

Even so, he chooses to be close to you. He’ll approach you on his own, stay nearby, watch you curiously, and slowly begin building trust in his own quiet way 💛

📍 Currently in Mulegé, Baja California Sur, Mexico
✈️ Ready to fly to Canada 🇨🇦 or the USA 🇺🇸

• Approx. 7 months old
• Likely Whippet type Bajamix 🐾
• Weight: ~20 lbs ⚖️
• Neutered ✅

• Dewormed & flea/tick treated ✅
• Microchipped ✅
• Great with other dogs 🐶
• Respectful with cats 🐱
• Medium energy ⚡
• Does his business outside ✅
• Sleeps in bed with humans and dogs 💤
• Learning leash walking 🦮
• Good in the car 🚗
• Independent but curious and playful ✨

Rudi absolutely LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a home with confident playful dog friends to help him continue building confidence 🐕💛

He enjoys playing, exploring, and being near his people, even if physical touch still feels overwhelming for him at times.

We don’t know what happened to Rudi before rescue, but whatever it was, he deserves patience, kindness, and a family willing to let him heal at his own pace 🥹

He is not aggressive at all. He simply needs someone who understands shy dogs and will allow trust to happen naturally.

Watching dogs like Rudi slowly learn they are safe is one of the most rewarding things in the world 🤍

🐾 MEET FAWN 🐾

Fawn’s story started in a very sad way 💔

She was found alone wandering the streets of Mulege, Baja California Sur, Mexico. There was nobody around, and she was clearly scared and showing signs that she had been abandoned there all by herself 😔

Thankfully, she was rescued before something terrible happened to her, and now she’s safe, loved, and ready to find the forever family she truly deserves 🥹🤍

• Female
• Approx. 9 months old
• Whippet / Terrier type Bajamix 🐾
• Weight: ~26 lbs ⚖️
• Spayed ✅
• Vaccinated 💉
• Dewormed & flea/tick treated ✅
• Microchipped ✅
• Great with other dogs 🐶
• Ignores cats 🐱
• Medium energy ⚡
• Walks well on leash 🦮
• Rides great in the car 🚗
• House trained, does her business outside ✅
• Sleeps in bed with humans and dogs 💤
• Initially shy but very friendly once comfortable 💛

Fawn is affectionate, curious, playful, and incredibly loyal once she trusts you. She loves being close to her humans, running around, swimming, and playing ball 🎾💦

She would do wonderfully in an active home or with another playful dog to keep her company 🐕✨

Like many young dogs, she can get bored if left alone too long without toys or stimulation, but overall she’s a very sweet and well balanced girl.

After everything she’s been through, Fawn deserves a family that will never abandon her again 🤍

This May 14th, we’re getting together once again at Off the Hook to enjoy a cold Pata Fría and meet some of our amazing dogs looking for forever homes! 🐾🍻
