PAWS Mauritius PAWS, is a Mauritian community driven animal welfare organization with no affiliation to any political, ethnic or religious group.

We are a transparent CSR-accredited NGO and are totally reliant on public donations and CSR sponsorship. PAWS Mauritius runs 2 no-kill shelters for dogs and cats in distress. At any one time we have some 200 animals under our care. We also have 2 low-cost veterinary clinics and organise sterilisation (spay) days across the island. We rely on the public generosity and we are also registered to rece

Snoopy was hit by a car who did not stop to help him. Other cars would swerve to avoid a crawling hurt dog who was desperately trying to get to safety. Until… a young couple on motorcycle drives by and did not look away. They stopped and picked him up and put him far from the road until they could get help. Snoopy lost a leg in this accident but he is now safe and loved at PAWS Panchvati. Thank you to those amazing 2 human beings! 🫶🏼🐾😘
