🤝 MRU and Regjun Tramuntana to collaborate for a cleaner environment ⬇️.

Our Rangers were invited for an initial meeting to introduce our NGO to the Office, as well as for the Office to explain their challenges in the region.

A first collaboration to start with immediate effect is the one of our Rangers doing patrols in the area of Qawra/Bugibba to speak to people. They will hand out information about waste management laws and the consequences of not adhering to such.

‼️ After the educational phase, or in cases of severe environmental crimes, we would move on to start reporting offenders to the Police for legal action to be taken.

We are looking forward to seeing how this collaboration between the Region, the community and our Unit can evolve to something greater.
