Hey animal lovers! As the Maltese sun cranks up, it’s time to give our furry companions some serious TLC. 🐶🐱

🔥 The Heat is Real, here’s What to Do:

🥤 Hydration is #1
Always keep fresh, cool water available. Pop in some ice cubes, most pets love them!

🥗 Light, Moist Meals
Go for wet food (canned is fine!) over dry kibble during the day. It helps keep them hydrated and easier to digest.

🍉 Safe Treats?
YES! Try small bits of:

Watermelon (no seeds/rind)

Cucumber slices

Frozen broth cubes

🚫 Avoid: onions, garlic, grapes, raisins, chocolate.

🌳 Timing Walks Right
Early mornings & after sunset are your best bets. Hot pavements can burn paws!

🧊 Cool Down Ideas

Wet towels to lie on

Fans or AC if possible

DIY frozen treats: blend a banana, plain yogurt, freeze in small molds!

💡 Watch Out For Signs of Heatstroke:
Excessive panting, drooling, confusion, vomiting, or lethargy.
get to a vet ASAP.

Here are a few hot weather tips to keep your pups cool and happy:
🔹 Walk early or late, avoid midday sun!
🔹 Always have fresh, cool water available
🔹 NEVER leave dogs in cars, not even for a minute
🔹 Watch for signs of heatstroke (excessive panting, drooling, weakness)
🔹 Get them a cooling mat or dog-safe ice treats, we’ve got them in stock! 🧊🐕
