Our price includes a few hours horse trekking, a hot meal and transport to and from town. We also organise many different horse treks suitable to all levels and interests. If you want to relax on horseback and enjoy the scenery or if

you prefer an intense adventure trek, we have what you want. And if horse riding is not really your thing, we also propose jeep tours covering different areas of the country. We have over 40 horses to suit all abilities. We provide helmets and chaps for your protection.

Some places don’t show up on a map until you’ve earned the ride there. 🐎

Deep in the Khentii Mountains, past the marshy trails and forested passes, lies Khagiin Khar Nuur — a 20-metre-deep glacial lake that can only be reached on horseback. No roads. No crowds. Just you, your horse, and 1.2 million hectares of protected wilderness that’s almost untouched by humans.

Our 10-day trek to Khagiin Khar Lake takes you through Terelj National Park, over Khavirga Pass, into the Khan Khentii Protected Area — home to wolves, deer, and even the elusive brown bear. Camp under the stars, ride 30–40km a day, and spend one full day at the lake just soaking it in.

Anyone dreaming of a real off-grid adventure in Mongolia? 🐴

We're putting together riders for our 10-day horse trek to Khagiin Khar Lake — a glacial lake tucked deep in the Khan Khentii Protected Area that you can only reach on horseback. It's genuinely remote: no phone signal, no other tourists, just forested mountains, river crossings, and a support crew (English-speaking guide, horsemen, and cook) taking care of everything so you can just ride.

Highlights:

10 days / 9 nights, camping the whole way (tents, sleeping bags & mats provided)
~30-40km riding per day through Terelj National Park and the Khentii Mountains
A full leisure day at the lake itself to hike, ride, or just relax
All meals, horses, transfers, and permits included
Pricing works on group size — it drops the more people join (from $3,050 solo down to $1,570pp). If a few of you are up for it together, it gets a lot more affordable.
