I can't believe Cayenne.

I've hardly taken my eyes off of her for 2 weeks and she pops out 3 babies while I'm in the shower!!
My feelings aside, please welcome these beautiful babies.
We decided to name them after the GSM blend because we knew they would be triplets. 2 girls and a boy. We have Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre 🥰

Update on Merlot.
He is a chunky, happy baby. Definitely a mama's boy. He is doing well on a bottle but getting plenty of milk from his mom.
I often see him using Sissy as a launch pad 🤣
He is available for adoption.

Thank you ladies for letting me run my errands and not having your babies while I was gone. Even though I took an extra hour.

I know you're uncomfortable and ready for these babies. I am too!
Now that we all have food, have at it! Let the babies come! 🥰

Alright... last time I went grocery shopping and got hay Sissy decided to have her baby.
This is the only time I'm leaving in the next couple days so Cayenne and Peggy Sue are from having their babies in the next 2 hours.
Do you hear me girls?

Well.... this did not end as expected.
I am highly disappointed in my tiny dinos.
It's my fault. Life has been too easy for them. No struggle. No fighting over resources.
Next time.... next time will be different.

We live in the High Desert of California. We never get rain. Of course these girls decide to have babies just as it starts to rain.
If they can't be sneaky about it they are gonna make sure I get rained on at the very least 🤦‍♀️🤣

I don't have video of the actual birth because I soon realized that Shorty was in distress.
The first baby had one leg in position but the head wasn't right. I was able to reach in and feel that the head was getting stuck on Shorty's pelvic bone. The amniotic sack had already burst so I needed to get her out of there quickly.
Luckily I was able to get her out, get her breathing and that allowed baby number 2 to come out without any problems.
They are weaker than I like but we'll keep watch and make sure they latch to get some colostrum.
We're happy to welcome twin girls!

I had a feeling! Shorty having her babies!
This is the start of everything. It's usually fairly quick but I still like to be there in case something goes wrong.

Weighing milk from this morning. Sissy is increasing her output every day. I'm so happy about that! We're not up to 30oz in a 12 hr fill yet but I'm hopeful.
Also, gotta love my excuse to drink and get a Mason jar while I do!
I have more if these than I probably should lol
