You can’t believe everything you see or read on the internet, that’s for sure! Here are 3 common dog myths debunked 🐶

Myth 1: If a dog is eating grass, it must mean their stomach is upset.

Facts: Some dogs will eat grass purely out of boredom or as a way to decompress and relieve stress. Other dogs eat grass because they like the taste or they are hungry. This isn’t as common but can be the case for some dogs.

Myth 2: A dog’s mouth is cleaner than a human’s mouth.

Facts: While dogs have slightly less types of bacteria (600 types) compared to humans who have 615 types of bacteria found in their mouths, this does not mean a dog’s mouth is in fact cleaner than a human’s. Dogs have similar bacteria that can lead to negative health issues such as gingivitis. It’s extremely important to clean your dog’s teeth and gums often.

Myth 3: Functional Mushrooms are a no go for dogs

Facts: Functional mushrooms are great for dogs and their health just like humans. Dogs can have low to moderate amounts of mushrooms like Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Rieshi and Chaga daily to help support their health. You just want to ensure they are given to your dog in the proper ways!

Hey everyone! I have successfully regained control over the pups and the page 🤣 Groot is a French Bulldog who has had some health troubles in the past including Arachnoid Diverticulum, a fluid-like pocket on his spine. He had surgery and is now thriving as a 7 year old good boy. Groot has been taking Mush Buddies Joint and Mobility Chews for the past 30 days and we are happy to see noticeable improvements in his movements, less rigidness in his legs and a pep in his step! 💚
