Yesterday Virilio's blood sample was sent out to Feragen!

This test will test for both about 50 health conditions and for colors that she carries.
When i have the results they will be published, but what we know now is:
She does not have PRA
She is dilute (d/d)
She carries chestnut (B/b)
She has white spotting (S)

My cattery's name and logo comes from my love of hearts and love in general and it translates to "Love Cat Cattery".

I have been an animal and cat lover since i can remember. I love shows, genetics, cats and raising baby animals so it feels like breeding was just the logical step to take :)

We currently own two oriental shorthair girls Kitkat and Virilio. Kitkat is a pet cat that started my love and passion for orientals. Virilio is my future breeding cat and the foundation for my cattery.

Amora Felis is registered with the American cat organization CFA (Cat Fanciers Association). This club was chosen because i find their breed standard and judgement on orientals the best. I absolutely hate hypertypes in orientals and you will not be seeing hypertype kittens in my cattery 🐾 Just functional and beautiful cats.

If all goes to plan, you can expect the first Amora Felis babies in summer of 2026 or 2027 🍼 But all depends on how Virilio's health testing turns out and on her health, temperament as she grows older. Virilio has a diverse color background so it's possible that the babies will come in various colors, but our main focus is structure rather than color. 🎨
