so we don't do the repurpose project events during the summer because the event room is just too damn hot and the cats were panting so we usually take a pause from there, but it's one of my favorite venues
we now have our winter dates so please put these on your calendar

I'm excited to announce we're going to have a date on December 20th right before Christmas. so if we have kittens and you're looking for a kitten for a present to surprise your children, I will offer that. we can deliver Christmas Eve or Christmas Day if it's not too far, just depending on what we have

I want to tell you about Zinny

beautiful sweet little tortoiseshell that got adopted. She was doing really good. then I got a call not even 2 weeks that she was sneezing. so I said sometimes they have a reaction to being in a new home and allergies and stuff. a couple hours later I get another call that she's foaming at the mouth and acting lethargic

so they bring her to me and I noticed that she's really red and swollen around her mouth and her eyes. she's got skin flaking off in her ears. later we found that she had damage inside that her back toes and her belly
we took her to the vet and we did blood work and she was in liver failure
I asked the person what they did to her
did they wash her in something? did she get into some chemical? did they feed her something? did she eat something and they claim nothing at all?
the vet said there's no way she could have got these symptoms from just some disease and that this was definitely some kind of chemical damage
she's doing okay now and her hair is growing back
the vet was amazed that she was even alive
the liver damage was so bad that 2 weeks later her second blood test showed liver damage still
she eats good. she's sweet and loving
she will lay on your chest and lick your face for an hour
she's highly adoptable but she needs to go to a home with someone who will take good care of her and not do something horrible and then lie about it or even worse. be completely unaware that you're kitten has been exposed to some toxic chemical

this has been very heartbreaking because she was one of my favorites and actually made my heart leap a little when they picked her cuz I didn't know how much I loved her

I have too many cats so I want her to find a good home and I wanted to go to someone who would take her to the vet if she was acting sick, not called the rescue and dump her back on them

I shouldn't have refunded them their adoption fee because she has cost me several hundred dollars now from their neglect

in the comments I'll post some pictures of her when I first got her back and when she first went to them

The person who originally had the little chorkies, which is Chihuahua and Yorkie, has decided to rehome the last little female who is a beautiful fluffy Merle
The adoption fee will include only the spay. any extras will have to come out of your pocket
the rehoming fee is $400

we will pay the $90 And also the rabies at Chiefland Pet Vet to have her fixed at 4 to 5 months, whichever you prefer
pain meds antibiotics and cone will be out of your pocket. this is the best I can do
because the rehoming fee does not go to the rescue

this lady needs to rehome these two cats. he said they're over a year old
it's a complicated story but they're beautiful. orange and white sisters get along great with each other. I think they've had all their shots and that they've recently been updated and they are already fixed. the only thing we couldn't confirm was combo testing which I would recommend
small rehoming fee and probably cover that
these are beautiful cats and would make a great companion set

These pups need a foster home or home by sunday or monday

all girls 12 weeks old this weekend
will get booster shot Sunday
you do an adoption fee of $50 down and we work together to try to get them fixed
it could cost a bit if I cant find help but I cannot eat the cost so please do not take them if you can't afford to help get them fixed

A Matchmaking Service

Robin is a matchmaker, there is no doubt about that. She knows each one of her loveable (and sometimes not so loveable) furry pals.. and once she gets to know you she will find a match made to last. We are first and foremost a sanctuary to provide safe haven for cats who otherwise would be killed at a kill shelter, abandoned animals as well as assist when possible rehoming pets. We foster and take care of cats and help to find as many furever homes as possible thru private adoptions, adoption events and fund raisers. Call 352-284-5610 if you are interested in adopting one of our cats. We interview initially to see if you are a good fit for one of our animals, then we arrange you to meet them. You will fill out an application and then the fee is typically $75 which includes the animals spay/neuter, combo test, and all first year shots. The cats all get flea treatment and have been treated for worms. If they are younger and still need their shots we complete them after the adoption. Some cats are sponsored and may have a reduced fee.
