எம் காப்பக நலன் விரும்பிகளே!
எம் காப்பகத்தை ஒரு சிறந்த நிர்வாக அமைப்பாக முன்னெடுத்து செல்ல நாம் தீர்மானித்துள்ளோம்.
"பிரச்சினைகள் தீர்ந்த பின் இதைப் பார்த்துக்கொள்ளலாம்" என்று இவ்வளவு காலமும் காத்திருந்தோம். ஆனால் இந்த நாட்டில் ஒரு பிரச்சினை தீர்வதற்கு பல ஆண்டுகள் ஆகும் என்பதை அனைவரும் அறிவோம்.
அதிலும், எமது பிரச்சினை தெரு நாய்கள் சம்பந்தப்பட்டதாகும். இவர்களுக்கு நீதியை யாரும் வழங்க மாட்டார்கள் என்பதை நாம் போராடிய நாட்களின் அனுபவத்தில் கற்றுக்கொண்டோம்.
எனவே, தனி மனிதர்களாக இந்த நாட்டின் தெரு நாய்களுக்காக போராடுவது மிகவும் கடினமானது என்பதால், எமக்கான அடையாளத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் வகையில் எமது சேவையை ஒரு அறக்கட்டளையாகப் பதிவு செய்து, அங்கீகாரத்துடனும் அதிகாரபூர்வமான முறையிலும் முன்னெடுக்க எண்ணியுள்ளோம்.
அறக்கட்டளையாகப் பதிவு செய்தால் பல நன்மைகள் கிடைக்கும் என்பதால், அந்த வழியிலேயே செல்ல விரும்புகிறோம்.
இதன் மூலம் எம் காப்பகம் மக்கள் மத்தியில் மேலும் நம்பிக்கையைப் பெறும். அதேவேளை, எம் ஜீவன்களை சிறப்பாக பராமரிப்பதற்குத் தேவையான நிதி உதவிகளை எளிதாகப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் வாய்ப்பும் உருவாகும்.
அது மட்டுமல்லாமல், எம் காப்பகத்தின் பெயரில் ஒரு வங்கிக் கணக்கையும் உருவாக்கிக் கொள்ள முடியும். அவ்வாறு உருவாக்கப்பட்டால், வெளிநாடுகளில் இருந்து உதவிகளை அனுப்பும் உறவுகளுக்கும் பல நடைமுறை வசதிகள் கிடைக்கும்.
இது மட்டுமன்றி, அறக்கட்டளையாகப் பதிவு செய்வதன் மூலம் இன்னும் பல நன்மைகள் எமக்கு கிடைக்கும்.
பல்வேறு சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் இந்த அறக்கட்டளைப் பதிவு தொடர்பாக எமது வழக்கறிஞருடன் பேசியிருந்தோம். ஆனால் அதற்குத் தேவையான நிதி இல்லாத காரணத்தால், அந்த முயற்சியும் இதுவரை முன்னேற முடியாமல் போயுள்ளது.
இந்தப் பதிவை மேற்கொள்ள சுமார் இலங்கை ரூபா 65,000/- செலவாகும்.
இந்தத் தொகையைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடிந்தால், ஒரு மாத காலத்திற்குள் அறக்கட்டளைப் பதிவை நிறைவு செய்ய முடியும் என வழக்கறிஞர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
எனவே, இந்த முயற்சிக்கு யாரேனும் உதவ விரும்பினால், அது எமக்கு மிகப் பெரிய ஆதரவாக இருக்கும்.
இதற்கு மேலாக, எமக்கு இன்னும் பல பிரச்சினைகளுக்கு தீர்வு காண வேண்டியுள்ளது. தினந்தோறும் பல்வேறு தேவைகளுக்காக பணம் தேவைப்படுகிறது. உறவுகள் வழங்கும் உதவிகளைத் தாண்டி செலவுகள் அதிகரித்து வருவதால், சில நேரங்களில் கடன் பெற வேண்டிய சூழலும் உருவாகியுள்ளது.
மேலும், தற்போதைய சூழ்நிலையில் எம்மால் வழக்கமான வேலைகளுக்குச் செல்லவும் முடியவில்லை.
எம்மை நம்பி வாழும் ஜீவன்களைப் பராமரித்து, அவர்களுக்கு தேவையான பணிவிடைகளைச் செய்வதற்கே எம் இருவரின் ஆற்றலும் நேரமும் முழுமையாக செலவாகி வருகிறது.
கடன் சுமை, உடல்நலக் குறைபாடுகள், எம்மை நம்பியுள்ள ஜீவன்கள் கஷ்டப்படுவதைப் பார்க்கும் மனவேதனை, மன அழுத்தம் என பல்வேறு சவால்களை நாம் எதிர்கொண்டு வருகிறோம்.
இவற்றிற்கெல்லாம் குறுகிய காலத்தில் ஒரு தீர்வு கிடைத்து, நாமும் எம்மை நம்பியுள்ள ஜீவன்களும் நிம்மதியாகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியாகவும் வாழ வேண்டும் என்பதே எமது ஒரே விருப்பமாகும்.
தற்போதைய நிலைமை தொடர்ந்தால், எமக்கு ஏதேனும் நேர்ந்துவிட்டால் எம்மை நம்பியுள்ள ஜீவன்கள் அநாதைகளாகி விடுவார்கள் என்ற எண்ணமே எம்மை மிகவும் கவலையடையச் செய்கிறது. அவர்கள் எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டிய நிலைமையை நினைத்துப் பார்க்கவே எமக்கு முடியவில்லை.
எம்மை நம்புபவர்கள் நம்புங்கள். எம் உடலில் உயிரும் பலமும் இருக்கும் வரை, இந்த நாட்டின் தெரு நாய்களின் நலனுக்காக எமது பயணம் தொடரும்.

Dear Supporters,
We have decided to take an important step towards strengthening and sustaining our shelter by registering it as a legally recognized charitable trust/foundation.
For a long time, we believed that once our ongoing challenges were resolved, we could focus on this registration process. However, experience has taught us that resolving issues related to street dogs can take years, and justice for these innocent animals is often overlooked.
As individuals, it is becoming increasingly difficult to continue this mission alone. Therefore, we wish to establish our service as a registered charitable organization, giving us a stronger identity, legal recognition, and greater ability to advocate for street dogs.
Why is Registration Important?
Registering our shelter as a charitable trust/foundation will:

✅ Help us obtain financial support more easily.
✅ Allow us to open an official bank account in the shelter's name.
✅ Create opportunities for local and international donations.
✅ Ensure the long-term sustainability of our work.

Registration Cost
The total cost required to complete the registration process is:
LKR 65,000/=
According to our lawyer, once the required funds are available, the registration can be completed within approximately one month.
We Need Your Help
If anyone is willing to support this important initiative, your contribution will make a significant difference.
Apart from this registration, we face daily expenses related to food, medical treatment, shelter maintenance, and the welfare of the animals under our care. Due to increasing costs and limited resources, we have often been forced to rely on loans to continue our work.
At present, both of us dedicate nearly all our time to caring for the animals, leaving little opportunity for regular employment.
Our Commitment
Despite financial difficulties, health concerns, emotional stress, and countless challenges, we remain committed to the animals who depend on us.
Our greatest hope is to secure a stable future for these dogs and ensure that they continue to receive care, protection, and love.
If the current situation continues, we fear what may happen to these animals should anything happen to us. The thought of them becoming abandoned and helpless is heartbreaking.
