That's one reason why we shouldn't throw polythene into the environment. When polythene enters the sea, it looks like jellyfish. Marine creatures like these get lured by the polythene and eat it and die.

Let's reduce the use of new polythene as much as possible. Try to use cloth and paper bags when going to the store. Dispose of waste properly. Let's get used to things like reusing, reusing for other useful purposes, and recycling.

Only 7%-9% of plastic and polythene products in the world are recycled.
