Bred and raised here on our farm, these females represent the kind of animals we keep working toward. Strong top lines, balanced frames, depth of body and clean dairy character – built to produce and hold up through multiple lactations. We select for open rib, correct feet and legs, good spring of rib and a calm temperament, with the goal of improving a little bit with every generation. Quiet, consistent quality is what we value most, and these home-bred goats are a small step in that direction.

From the foundation doe Senbagam to her great-granddaughter Nandhini, each one has carried forward the strength, structure, and production we’ve worked hard to build.
This was Senbagam’s last day on the farm before moving to a new home — so we captured this moment with her legacy beside her.

Despite being described as an “excellent family companion”, American Bullies (a modern Pit bull-type dog) are perceived to be violent and aggressive. This is mostly a result of irresponsible owners who take advantage of their fierce and powerful appearance and the spread of unhelpful myths. ‘Puppy mills’ around the world and in Sri Lanka that disregard the health and happiness of dogs, by keeping them in poor conditions with inadequate socialization are also to blame for pure breed dogs such as the American Bully that are prone to behavioral and emotional issues in their adulthood.

At the Ceylon American Bully Club, we aim to share accurate information on the characteristics and appearance of different types of American Bullies, busting harmful myths and rumors. We also aim to discourage dangerous breeding practices by sharing useful guidelines for responsible breeding and raising awareness on the best way to ensure your companion is happy and healthy.
