Meet Joplin – A Special Cocker Spaniel Looking for Her Forever Home
Joplin is a beautiful 2-year-old black Cocker Spaniel with a heart full of love and a playful spirit.
She was rescued alongside her sister, Janis, when they were just two months old—both named in honor of the legendary rock singer Janis Joplin. Since then, Joplin has grown into a smart, affectionate, and energetic companion, ready to bring warmth and happiness to the right home.

• Vaccination & Vetting: Fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and in excellent health

A Unique and Intelligent Companion
Joplin is highly intelligent and quickly learns routines. She has even figured out how to open sliding glass doors! She is affectionate and playful but thrives in a structured, loving environment where clear boundaries are set. She also has a clever way of playing with emotions to get what she wants, so a firm yet gentle approach is essential.
What Joplin Needs in a Home:
• Indoor Living: Joplin must be an indoor dog.
• Companionship: She cannot be left alone for long periods. A household helper is required to ensure she receives the attention she deserves.
• Training: As part of her adoption, Joplin must be trained by Hisham Tarabay. We do not permit training at K9 schools.
• Commitment & Stability: We strongly prefer adopters who will not change her name, as stability is essential for rescued dogs adjusting to new environments.
