It's been almost a year since we shared wonderful moments in Beirut. We had hoped to invite you for a second edition of Hours already in 2020, but a lot have come into play for the beautiful Lebanese capital, Beirut, and all over the world with the coronavirus.
In October 2019, Lebanon witnessed a people's revolution, where people called for an end to a corrupted government, and demanded better management of the country that continues to be economically struggling as a result of the corruption.
It is the people of Lebanon that bring the flamboyant life to the hours of Beirut, the way they maintain their rich culture through passion, hard work, and kindness is what's make it such a unique place. Much along the lines of the theme of Hours Beirut 2019: Maintenance; Beirut is a city that thrives on the maintenance work of everyone calling it home.
We hope to see you another year. We miss being able to hang out and gain new insights in meatspace with all of you. In the meantime, take a look at the nine talks from the 2019 seminar as well as plenty of photos from the city exploration that is available on our site. https://buff.ly/2Xd3SkI
