Did you know that home pools could pose a serious risk to your pets?

Not all dogs are confident swimmers, and cats or smaller pets can easily fall in without a way to climb out. Even strong swimmers can become disoriented or panic.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

✅ Always supervise pets near the pool

✅ Cover your pool with a pet-safe pool protection when not in use

✅ Install steps or a ramp so your pets can exit easily

✅ Teach your dog where the exits are

✅ Get a lifejacket for your dog

It only takes a moment for an accident to happen, so it’s always best to take a preventative approach.
