‼️FOSTER HOMES DESPERATELY NEEDED! ‼️

Hello! We are in the market for foster homes! Especially, foster homes without other pets- but we are happy to have anyone who is interested!

It seems to be raining boxers in need and we can only help when we have foster homes ready to step up and take a dog!

What are the benefits of fostering?
- Helping a loving dog that needs you!
- Getting endless supplies of love
- Puppy dog eyes
- Boxer wiggles
- The joy of having a boxer in your home!
What are the cons?

- The one we hear the most: "I am too scared to foster because I know I will fall in love with the dog and not want to give him up." Well guess what? There is this term called "foster fail" and we have all done it! We have an option called Foster to Adopt and this allows you to make that decision to not let them go if you have fallen in love and they are a good fit for your home!

🐾 Fostering Saves Lives! 🐾

We are in need of Foster Homes 🐾 Did you know that we are 100% foster based? GLBR does not have a facility, so foster homes are the backbone of our Rescue. We are in need of several different types of homes to become Foster Families:
-Homes with Boxer experience
-Medical Fosters
-Only dog homes
-Adult only homes
-Foster to adopt homes

🐾 There are times we need a safe place in a hurry for a dog in need to go. Sometimes this means we have merely an hour or two to bring a dog in to rescue. Are you someone who could help us with emergency shelter? We need you...

🐾 Do you have the ability to separate a new foster dog from the rest of your furry family until the dog can be assessed to see if they get along ok with other dogs? We need you...

I just got this from Axle’s family (Cocoa’s first litter from 2013) 😔 He lived a wonderful life with the Chase family. A life that I wish every puppy born into this world could live:

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that we had to put Axle down yesterday. He started losing weight rapidly in under 2 weeks he lost almost 20 pounds. The vet ran tests, and he had cancer in his lymph nodes. We kept him comfortable for a week, and on Thursday, he wouldn't eat, Friday morning, he could barely stand. So we made an appointment for later in the the day. We took him to the park, but he didn't want to get out of the car. Got him a burger and ice cream from DQ, and he only took 1 lick. He had a great life and brought so much comfort and joy to us. He is now running free across the rainbow bridge.

Akayda wants to say happy birthday to all his brothers and sisters from Ivy’s January 2020 litter.
His momma says he even shared his cupcake with his siblings 🐾
