ការប្រយុទ្ធប្រឆាំងនឹងជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួតគឺជាគម្រោងកំពុងបន្តនិងកិច្ចសហការរវាងក្រុមការងារសង្គ្រោះសត្វចិញ្ចឹមរាជធានីភ្នំពេញនិងបេសកកម្មជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួតកម្ពុជាហើយក៏មានការគាំទ្រពីអង្គការសង្គ្រោះសត្វកម្ពុជាផងដែរ។ ក្រុមការងារគ្រប់គ្រងករណីខាំរួមបញ្ចូលគ្នា (ក្រុមអាយប៊ីស៊ីអឹម) កំពុងខិតខំយ៉ាងខ្លាំងដើម្បីការពាររាជធានីភ្នំពេញពីជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួត។ ប្រសិនបើអ្នកបានឃើញសត្វគួរឲ្យសង្ស័យឬអ្នកឬសត្វចិញ្ចឹមរបស់អ្នកត្រូវបានខាំសូមទាក់ទងមកលេខទូរស័ព្ទទាន់ហេតុការណ៍តាមទូរស័ព្ទលេខ ០៨១៨០៤១៧៦
រូបថតទាំងនេះត្រូវបានថតនៅពេលថ្មីៗនេះទៅកាន់វត្តក្នុងស្រុកមួយដែលជាកន្លែងដែលឆ្កែមួយត្រូវបានគេសង្ស័យថាមានជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួត។ ក្រុមការងារ IBCM បានស៊ើបអង្កេតករណីនេះ (សត្វឆ្កែមានអវិជ្ជមានជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួត) ។ បន្ទាប់មកសត្វត្រូវបានចាក់វ៉ាក់សាំងប្រឆាំងនឹងជំងឺឆ្កែឆ្កួតដើម្បីការពារសត្វដទៃទៀតក៏ដូចជាមនុស្ស។

The fight against rabies is an ongoing project and collaboration between Phnom Penh Animal Welfare Society and Mission Rabies Cambodia and is also supported by Animal Rescue Cambodia. The Integrated Bite Case Management team (IBCM team) is working hard to protect Phnom Penh from rabies. If you have seen a suspected animal or you or your pet have been bitten by it, please contact the hotline number at 081804176.
These photos were taken at a recent visit to a local pagoda, where a dog was suspected to have rabies. The IBCM team investigated the case (the dog was negative). Animals are then vaccinated against rabies to protect other animals as well as humans.

September 28th was World Rabies Day. A terrible viral disease that is easily preventable with a vaccine. Many responsible pet owners came out yesterday to have their cats and dogs vaccinated against rabies. The vaccine is always available at PPAWS.
