Yesterday, we had the invaluable opportunity to engage with farmers and key agricultural stakeholders at the 2025 South East Alego Agri-Expo, held at Mr. Joseph Agunda’s farm in Nyang'oma.
The event was officially graced by the County Director for Agriculture and centered around this year’s powerful theme:
"𝑺𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝑭𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑺𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕: 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 & 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚."
This theme underscored the importance of integrating technology into agriculture to enhance sustainability, resilience, and profitability.
Over 20 stakeholders participated in this dynamic event including Avepo Agrovets Ltd.

1.Poultry Breeds at the Smart Farm;
We showcased our full poultry value chain, from day-old chicks to maturity including popular breeds such as:

2. Seedlings Production
We also showcased our ongoing seedling production project at the Smart Farm, which has now expanded to offer all varieties of F1 horticultural seedlings.
