Neti & Saitoti - our Maasai Spotters

While Neti has been with us for over 15 years, his son Saitoti has joined our team recently and is being trained alongside his father. Being a spotter takes years of experience and there is no one better to learn from.

We are lucky enough to ride across during our Laikipia ride where we often encounter both black and white rhino.

Cheers to the end of another epic season!

Our team of wonderful staff and horses now head home for a very well deserved break before we kick off again in June.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY TO OUR 4 LEGGED WOMEN!

Without these fantastic mares nothing that we do would be possible. We have 15 strong independent mares in our string of horses, and these fearless ladies have been enjoyed by so many guests.

A special mention to Simon’s lead mare Chyulu, who aside from being grandmother and mother to a considerable amount of our horses, she’s sure saved a lot of people’s ass’. Crossing rivers, facing up to lions and elephants there’s little that phases Chyulu and the rest of her crew.

Also pictured as some of our best mares are: Zawadi, Nutella, Posey, Pauline Gilly, Chacha, Malachite and Flerries.

Nothing better than a dip in the river to cool down in the heat of the day.

When not on a horse, we fill the days with a variety of different adventures from game drives, walks and swimming in the rivers or damns.

We are currently riding in the Lolldaiga Hills on our Laikipia ride. Claimed to be the most beautiful farm in Kenya, the Lolldaiga Hills consists of 45,000 acres of breathtaking landscape which varies from the dry bush country of the north and rich cedar forests of the South.
