Civic Holiday Clinic Hours:
Saturday, August 2 - Open 9am to 2pm
Sunday, August 3 - Closed
Monday, August 4 - Closed
Tuesday, August 5 - Open 9am to 5pm (resuming regular hours)

🏥London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital will be open on Sunday, August 3 and Monday, August 4. Their phone number is 519-432-3300.

Southwest Veterinary Hospital will have 24 hour care available over the long weekend. You can reach them at 519-672-1623.

Kiara is our RVT Katie's new addition! She is a 4 month old Bengal kitten and is SO sweet. Katie brought a licky mat for her second vaccine visit, so Kiara did not even notice the vaccines!

✨ Today we’re celebrating the amazing Dr. Shannon Moffatt—an inspiring leader, skilled veterinarian, and proud cat lover! 🐱 Her compassion, quick thinking, and unwavering support for our team make her an incredible role model. Whether she’s handling emergencies, performing dental surgeries, or making us laugh, we’re so grateful to have her leading the way. 💙

We asked Dr. Moffatt some questions so you can get to know her better:

What was your very first pet’s name, and what kind of animal were they? Family Cat named Tabby. First of own- hamster named Rambo.

Go-to Starbucks order? Tap water no ice (Starbucks is way too intimidating!)

What’s one thing you can’t live without at work? My co-workers! And a sweater.

What’s your favorite thing about working in veterinary medicine? The range and scope of our role varies from general practitioners to emergency services, radiology, surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, friends and caregivers. Every case is different!

If your pet could talk, what’s the first thing you think they’d say? “take me with you!”

What's your favourite TV show? Brooklyn Nine Nine

If you weren’t working in vet med, what other career would you have pursued? If I was not a veterinarian- secret agent
