We are the first resources needed to educate and reduce the rate of bites and stings. Other resources will get us at work. In this spirit we continue expanding to reach to more people laying down tips for prevention of snakebite and scorpion sting. All is about saving lives and limbs for heathy communities.
They say '' snake bite and scorpion sting are problems to poor people''. We say'' the real poor is the one who ignores that these incidents happen even to rich people hiking and camping''. If everyone is aware of this, then no one is vulnerable. We successfully completed the last sessions in Kalobeyei reception centers to prepare those who relocating to the community to adopt a lifestyle that creates and promotes a safe environment.

We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Craig and P. Dan for their generous support in helping us fence our center. Your kindness and commitment have brought a real change to our community.

Why the fence matters:
Having a secure fence around our center means greater protection for our resources, a safer environment for our staff and visitors, and more peace of mind for everyone involved in our activities. It also helps us build trust to the community we serve.

Your contribution is more than just materials—it's a lasting investment in the safety and sustainability of our work. We pray that God blesses you so that you continue supporting us. Thank you for standing with us!

As we educate our community for a safe environment, we also decided to empower them by introducing the English class ( basic & lower intermediate). Three months have shown us how our community members are able to communicate effectively and services they seek in different offices. .

Money is not the only thing in life, insightful interactions can make a great difference in expanding ideas, diversifying programs and adapting them to the needs of the community. We were happy to receive visitors from Watamu snake farm led by Dr. Raphael to our center. I know the team since last November as I attended a snake identification training at Watamu snake farm. Thanks for every word spoken during our talk.

Heroes are people who don't follow policies established by social institutions; They follow their hearts, the love for the other and the courage to lift them up. This is why we can only be very happy to have received 20 plastic chairs, 2 wooden tables and teaching materials from Mr. Craig and P. Dan. Thank you so much for the support that has helped us make a step ahead in improving our services to the community. Thank you once again.

On Sunday, December 15, I visited an Afghan citizen who was stung by a young Parabuthus maximus. The incident happened late at night around 12:40 am. He was stung on his big toe. Good enough he didn't experience any swelling but a lot of pain that led him from one hospital to the second where he received a proper care. The incident happened last week and now he's able to share what he experienced in those trouble moments.
